I’m Phoebe, and I’ve been an avid gamer since I was really small. I’m a musician, and I completed my MA in Music at Bangor University, focusing on music for video games. I’ve always loved gaming, and for my undergraduate I married my two loves of writing and gaming in my undergrad dissertation on music in horror games. I also wrote an analysis of Jessica Curry’s score for Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture, as well as an in-depth dissertation on the main themes of The Elder Scrolls series.
I really really love RPGs, and you’ll see a lot on The Elder Scrolls as they’re one of my favourite game series. A good game for me is one with a good, heartstring-pulling story, meaningful character development, and, of course, a rich soundtrack.
I also have a huge fondness for Supergiant’s Bastion, which everyone should play at least once. The soundtrack is incidentally very good gym music.
Thanks for checking out my blog; hope you enjoy reading, and please feel free to send me messages or leave comments as I’m always open to feedback!
